Young Journalists!
Day 1 in October ½ term. You will come to some training to
learn skills in journalism and meet all the young
journalists. You'll look at the topics you want to interview
on and the people you'd like to interview.
Day 2 on
November 6th. You will spend the day with the 11
Million team. First we will go to Prospect school where you
will hold interviews using their media suite. This will mean
you can do podcasts and video links for the website.
Then we will go to the Civic centre where we will have some
lunch and continue with the interviews and you will conduct these
and make notes ready to turn into a blog.
Day 3 later in November. You will all get together again
to put all your interviews together and arrange for an order in
which to upload them onto readingyouth.com. You will decide
how often they go up there and how you make sure all your friends
know about it.
