Welcome to the readingyouth.com site, the home of all things 'youth' in Reading. 

On 22nd February 2013, Reading held its annual Youth Celebration Event at Highdown School.  This fantastic event was attended by young people from across the town, along with a range of parents, friends and those who work with young people in a range of roles.  Acts included street-dance, singing and showing of films, and participants also had a go at a range of activities including football-skills, food-tasting, rapping and zumba. 

This event demonstrated everything positive that young people bring to the community of Reading - well done for all your achievements over the past 12 months.

Reading Youth Cabinet have now launched their manifesto for 2013.  This booklet outlines what the group will work towards over the year, and hope to achieve.  If you have any comments, queries or help to offer the Youth Cabinet, please get in touch.
